I've had many opportunities to do makeup for People magazine, but one of my favorite moments was grooming Michael Strahan.
The shoot took place in Houston Texas. I started my day at 12 noon. I went into the presidential suite of the Four Season, where I was met
by the photographer and his many crew members.
Since the feature would include many family members, it wouldn't be possible for me to get everyone ready by myself so the magazine
had 2 barbers, one hair stylist and another makeup artist on set as well. As I groomed Michael, the other makeup artist and hair stylists
worked on other family members.
By the time we were ready to shoot, I had the pleasure of beautifying Michael and 4 of his family members which included his father,
mother, and son.
Even though his sister wasn't going to be in the photos, she asked me to do some makeup on her as well. Of course I said YES!
It was a great shoot! I had so much fun meeting and working with Michael Strahan and his family. My only regret was not being able to
stay longer so I could accept their invitation to lunch. Unfortunately I had to decline so could travel out to work with Sophia Carson for her
press tour.
Maybe next time I'll get to break bread with them!
